Come and relax in our warm four bedroom homestead in the magnificent high country. The house sleeps seventeen people so is ideal for large groups. Erewhon has its own hydro power station so we keep the heaters running in the house at all times. This residual heat keeps any cold away and visitors are always surprised how warm and cosy the house is. 

The Erewhon homestead is a wonderful base for outdoor adventures such as hunting, horse trekking, mountain biking, fishing, tramping etc. An overnight stay is a great way to take in the beauty of the station as it changes from dusk to dawn. Plus its a great way to see a working station including some of the horse scenes from yesteryear.

The homestead is fully self-contained with a large kitchen and is perfect for birthday parties. The beds have a cover sheet and pillow but you need to bring your own linen, although this can be hired. You can find photos of the house here 

There is also our old homestead grounds, parklike setting suitable for tents or campervans or our single quarters available to rent. We also offer overnight treks to our huts.
