The Clydesdale's are an asset on Erewhon where we endeavour to use horses instead of vehicles. The work team consists of 8 Clydesdale's who are used regularly on the Station to do the cultivating work and in the wagon. They tow the wagon with supplies, musterers and dogs to the back huts, as well as become the station hacks when required!

The Clydies attend ploughing matches, treks & shows including Horse of the Year.

We can tailor a Clydesdale experience for you rangeing from a 1 hour wagon ride to a genuine high country adventure to our private hut in the mountains. Here you can enjoy a hot cast iron bath while admiring the mountain views and the clear night sky.

We can also offer saddle horse trekking with one of our gentle Clydesdales.
